"Elm Creek PTO is the best! PTO's fundraising each year helps me to create a fun learning environment for my kindergartners. Because of PTO dollars I don't have to spend my own money to get new books, toys, and learning tools each year. On top of all of this PTO donates a new book to each of my students every spring! I am very grateful for a group of Elm Creek families who are willing to volunteer their own time and energy to make our school an even better place for our children! " 

"As a parent and a teacher at Elm Creek, I am so thankful for the PTO! The funds raised from our Fun Run go directly back to the students and teachers. I have purchased a classroom rug, books, toys, and other learning tools using funds from the PTO. These items allow me to continue to provide the hands on learning that is so important in kindergarten." 

"Elm Creek PTO works incredibly hard to raise money for the students and teachers at our school. Because of the PTO's hard work and dedication, teachers receive money for their classroom every year! With the PTO funds I have been able to purchase fun learning games for my students, flexible seating, prizes for the students' rewards, art materials for the classroom, books, and so much more! PTO also donates a book to each student every year and replenishes our classroom materials. 

In addition, to supporting classrooms, PTO supports the teachers. They make sure we feel the love during teacher appreciation week! I am grateful that I get to be a part of a school community that has so many wonderful families that donate their time and energy to support the school community. Elm Creek PTO is the absolute BEST!"

"Being a parent and a teacher at EC is one of the most amazing things to be a part of. Building a community is crucial to me in my classroom and our PTO goes above and beyond to make every child feel special. They are in charge of so many fun events that our students remember most like APEX fun run and carnival. These events raise money for our school and each classroom teacher is given money from these events to buy things to engage our students and make their days at school to be the best ever."

"At Elm Creek Elementary we are a family and a community! Our PTO volunteers are part of our amazing family. They give teachers and staff opportunities to work together to supplement educational materials for our classrooms. These volunteers work endless hours to make sure we have fun fundraising opportunities such as the fun run and carnival to help with our classroom needs, professional development, and technology purchases. They provide meals to teachers during conferences. As teachers we put a lot of money into our classrooms every year. Our PTO continues to help us to supplement materials to achieve our yearly goals for our Elm Creek community! Please help support us!"

" For the past 7 years, Elm Creek 5th graders have had the chance to participate in the Elm Creek Fishing Club. This club focuses on giving 12 students real world fishing experience through 5 weeks of classroom instruction focusing on fish identification, fishing locations, techniques, and practice knot tying and casting. 

The culmination of the classroom instruction is a half day fishing trip on Weaver Lake in Maple Grove, where kids get the chance to put their knowledge into practice. Due to the generous funding from the Elm Creek PTO, each participate receives their very own custom fishing rods from Tuned Up Custom Rods, as well as a collection of essential tackle and tools. This program wouldn't be possible without the support of the Elm Creek PTO!" 

 "PTO at EC is AMAZING! It was clear to me from the get go (last year was my first year at EC) how much love, effort, and time the PTO puts into their events for the kids. They care that the events are done well and that they are inclusive (thinking about the Holiday Shoppe in particular). As a teacher, I’ve felt valued and cared about. Having meals provided during conferences and receiving money from the fundraiser was an unexpected bonus. I used my funds last year to buy much needed seat sacks for my classroom. I’m not sure what I’ll use it for this year, but I’m leaning towards learning games. I truly believe that the EC PTO is the best, and I’ve been in awe of how they’ve handled the mess that was dealt them this year. They truly are amazing! "
